Thursday, August 21st

Hey everyone! I am back once again! I didn’t mean to take so long!We are on the road, starting our weekend off in Texas. We are on the bus, and the girls are listening to my iPod. It’s their new favorite thing, except for Gracie of course. Michelle, Our nanny) has been reading about Barney to her. This is the first day they’ve had to miss school, so we have work that they brought with them to do. I am thankful that they can go with us, and bring their work.Well, some of you may know, but our new cd “Faith to Believe” is out in stores. It was released about a week ago, so everyone go out and get it! LOL. It has “Your Cries Have Awoken the Master,” and “We Have A Saviour.” Mike and I really strived to choose songs that would be of encouragement and strengthen the listener’s faith when we were in the process of making “Faith to Believe.” We feel blessed to have come acroos many songs that spoke to our hearts, and feel that they will touch others too.Well, I should be going, we are close to being to the date for tonight. I hope and pray you all have a wonderful day! Until next time……KellyProverbs 14:22If you plan to do evil, you will be lost; if you plan to do good, you will receive unfailing love and faithfulness.

Monday, August 11th

Hey everyone! Well, today was the big day! Hope and Katelanne started school, Hope as a third grader, and Katelanne started kindergarten. They were adorable this morning when I got them up to get ready. Katelanne told me that when her and Hope were laying in bed last night they talked about what school was going to be like. Hope moved upstairs this year, while Katelanne’s class is downstairs. Katelanne said that they would miss each other while in class because Hope would be all the way upstairs, it was precious! As I was fixing Katelanne’s hair, I almost lost it ( I teared up), but I was able to catch myself. I was worried that if I broke down, she would cry, and I certainly didn’t want that! LOL! I just had that vision of holding her for the first time in the hospital, and I saw her standing there in her uniform ready for kindergarten, and it got me! Where do the years go? How is my  baby  going to school?  Then, I realized I was getting ready to have a breakdown, and I pulled myself together! LOL! We got to school, and saw Ashleigh and Hannah ( cousins who are both in Katleanne’s class.)  They were all adorable!  Everyone had their video cameras, and cameras, it was too cute!     Hope is like and old pro at all of this, it is great to hear her try to help her little sister, and show her the way. I love it. Gracie wanted a backpack like the big girls, and to hear her say “backpack” is priceless!   She has also learned the word popcorn, which she pronounces “pop-pom”, and puppy, which is “puppa.”  She has her own little language!   Well that is pretty much our day so far.  We had a great weekend, and saw lots of friends. Thanks to everyone who came out! We love you all! I hope you are all well!  Until next time……Kelly   Romans 10:17So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

Wednesday, August 6th

Hey everybody!  Wow, it is a busy day for the Bowling’s! We leave out tonight, so we are trying to get everything in order for that, Katelanne has been sick, school orientation for the girls is this afternoon, and the list just sort of keeps going!  We took Katelanne to the E.R. yesterday, and they told us that she has bronchitis. Thankfully, today she seems to be a little bit better.   Monday was a dear friend’s funeral, and he will be greatly missed! Sonny Hannah, one of the sweetest people we have ever had the honor of knowing. Please pray for the Hannah family, they are precious and dear to my heart!Well, I should go, hope to be back blogging soon! LOL! Until next time…..  Kelly  Hebrews 13:8Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.

Thursday, July 31st

Hey everyone, I hope you are all well!  It has been so long since I have had the chance to blog! We have been very busy. We were in Canada last weekend and had a great trip. We are still catching up on sleep. (LOL!) It takes a few days to get back on track for me sometimes.    Hope and Katelanne are fixing to start school. We have uniforms to buy, and school supplies. It is amazing to me how fast they are growing up! Gracie is talking so much, she can say everything, if she wants to that is. She is now saying lots of  names, it is so funny. She is incredibly spunky, I have mentioned that before I know.  The spunkiness is not going anywhere I don’t think! It sure does provide lots of entertaining moments.Well, it is late, and I should turn in for the night! Until next time….Kelly   Psalm 103:1Bless the Lord, O my soul; And all that is within me, bless His holy name!

Tuesday, July 22

Hey everybody!  I hope you are all well!  We are home!  I love home!  It is soo hot here! The girls are watching a movie, and Gracie is right here with me. This kid loves the computer!  We had a good weekend. One night after service, we got to drive into Chicago for a couple of hours. That was a nice treat.  Hope stayed home this weekend because she was asked to sing on a children’s project. She really enjoyed the studio, and we are so proud of her!  While she was gone, Katelanne decided she would fill in for Hope, and sing her song on stage. She was determined, and she did the song! It made  her week, she was very happy, and would get upset if Mike didn’t encore it. So, next week when  we go out, I am not sure who will sing the song! It could be interesting!  It is really sweet how Katelanne looks up to Hope. She watches every move Hope makes. I remember being the little sister, and being the same way!Well, I should go for now. It is Gracie’s nap time, and I have things that I need to get done for sure. Until next time….KellyRomans 8:39Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us form the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Tuesday, July 15th

Hey, everyone! We are home this evening. We just got through with supper, and now the girls are playing with their cousin, Cameron. Hope smashed her finger, I think the neighbors probably heard her crying. It looked like it really did hurt, but I think she is going to be just fine. We gave her an ice pack, so that seems to have helped. The crying has stopped, so that’s a good sign.. My little sister Taylor is here, she is almost thirteen, and lots of help with the kids. She is usually in Kentucky so it has been nice to see her and spend time with her!  I hope all of you are well, Happy Birthday to Edie, (my niece) who is fourteen today! We love you!We sing tomorrow in Cleveland, Tennessee at the Singing Echoes Homecoming. We are looking forward to seeing lots of friends. If you are in the area, come and see us!  Until next time…….  Kelly Psalm 37:5Commit thy way  unto the Lord; trust also in Him; and he shall bring it to pass.

Saturday, July 12th

Well, we are in Mississippi today. I actually was the first one up, and found a free moment. I should be the first one up more often, LOL! We had a great time last night, a wonderful service, we love Mississippi! Tomorrow is Mike’s birthday, I don’t think he would want me to talk a lot about the age, but it is a little over 30! He loved teasing me about turning thirty this year. The girls should be crawling out of their bunks anytime now, and we will do our little routine, breakfast, go in the hotel, bath, and then grab some lunch. Then we will go to the church and set up, sound check, and get ready for the service tonight. They are such troopers, they can have fun anywhere, yesterday, the church had a great little nursery, and they played there and loved it. Hope told me last night that she was so thankful because she gets to be with her Mom and Dad everyday, and go with us. There have been times that she wanted to stay home, and there have been times that we have let her for certain reasons, but it made me so happy, that she is getting old enough to appreciate that we are together, and how blessed we are because of it!

Well, I should go, I hope you are all well. Please say a prayer for us! Until next time…….

Wherefore I put thee in remembrance that thou stir up the gift of God, which is in thee by the putting on of my hands.

Wednesday, July 9th

Well, I woke up this morning and realized that I haven’t blogged in a while!  I ask this question a lot, but where does the time go?  Summertime goes by so quickly, even when you are an adult. I can’t believe that we are already talking about going back to school. Backpacks, lunch boxes, school uniforms, it is almost time for all of that again. Didn’t summer just start? We will have two children in school now which means things will change a little this year. Katelanne is excited about kindergarden, and Hope is thrilled to be a third grader. She says she is moving to “upper” elementary. Oh, those were the days!   It is a good day here at home, I have things I am doing around the house and office, and the girls are fixing to clean their rooms. They haven’t been informed yet, which is why it is still quiet. Lol. I promise, I am not sure  that Hope still has a floor, you certainly can’t see it! Katelanne’s is not much better! Gracie is sitting here in my lap, my little shadow, who tries to help me type! I love it, she is such a character, entertainment almost all of the time!  Mike went fishing this morning, he got home as I was getting up. I looked outside and here he comes towards the house with his fishing pole in his hand.  I was laughing  out loud,  he looked like a little boy! He didn’t catch anything, but he seemed to have had a good time, so that’s all that matters.Well, I should go, I have so many things to get done! Until next time………Kelly    Proverbs 8:17I love them that love me; and those that seek me early shall find me.

July 1, 2008

Hey everyone! I can’t believe that July is already here! Summer goes by so fast. We just got back from an eleven day trip, so I am still trying to get everything in place. I took the girls swimming yesterday, I thought they deserved a day for them, considering we had been gone that long. We had a good time, but as I always say, there is no place like home. Today, I am trying to catch up in the office, fun, fun, fun!  I thought I would write  really fast while I had a chance!  The girls are running around here playing, making lots of noise. They are so funny!  So much energy, it really does amaze me!  Well, I really should go for now, I  hope you are all good out there!  Until next time………..  KellyIsaiah 55:11So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing wherto I sent it.

Wednesday, June 18th

Hey, everybody! It is wednesday already, and we are busy, busy, busy! Hope is helping me fill product orders, she is a good little helper when she puts her mind to it!  There is so much to do here, I always welcome help! We are fixing to leave out for a  ten day run.  I have lots of packing to do, and little time to do it.  I am fixing to go to the grocery, and run some errands. The girls love to go with me, they throw things in the cart when I am not looking! LOL. They have been so good this week, I am really blessed.  They hear the ice cream truck right now, and you would think they never had ice cream before! There’s just something about the truck bringing it that makes it extra special, I guess.  Ahh, to be a kid again. I have been thinking today about how sometimes the path that we take is not made clearly as we are walking it.  Sometimes, we are not sure where He is leading us. We pray for direction, and for God to show us the steps to take, but sometimes, it’s hard to know just where the steps are taking us. It is a place where we learn to trust, and where we learn about walking in faith. That is a phrase I have heard for many years, but the more that I live this life the more I am starting to understand it. Not knowing exactly what is around the corner sometimes, not for sure what the answer is to the circumstance, but knowing beyond a shadow of a doubt, that God will always lead the way. He will always take care of us!  So if you are having one of those days, where you are just not sure what God is doing, and where He is taking you, don’t be discouraged, He will not let you down!  You don’t have to know all of the answers, but you do have to decide who you will trust, and I recommend leaning on Him, He is faithful beyond words! I hope you all have a great day, please keep us in your prayers!  We appreciate all of you who are so supportive of us!  Until next time…..KellySt. John 27-28 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.
